The 10GbE adapter requires a x8 PCIe slot.

The controller supports the following SFP+ module for optical connections:

- 10/1Gbit/s Dual Rate Single Mode Fiber / Long Range SFP+ Module (S26361-F3986-L6)
- 10Gbit/s Multi Mode Fiber / Short Rang SFP+ Modul (S26361-F3986-L3)
- 10Gbit/s Single Mode Fiber / Long Range SFP+ Modul (S26361-F3986-L4)
For connections with SFP+ twinax cables the guidlines from the switch vendor must be considered. The controller supports the cables from the major switch vendors.
